as Irish diplomat Ciara O’Floinn came to end of her role as consulate general of ireland in atlanta, I was commissioned to design a farewell gift for her departure. It was critical to incorporate prominent figures, monuments and institutions that are historic to atlanta’s culture. Motifs featured throughout the design are civil rights icon John lewis, rock n roll hall of fame group outkast, signage from a staple restaurant, and representation of prominent hbcu’s. This design was used for print use.
